GIG :The Surfin’
Lungs
DATE: Saturday
1st December 2012
VENUE: The
Prince Albert, Trafalger Street, Brighton
COST: £7
OUR VERDICT: Full
of Chrimbo Cheer
Christmas celebrations started early on the South Coast, with the annual Surfin' Lungs Christmas gig. With fine support to warm up the audience, from The Space Agency, The Squadron Leaders, and the great Los Fantasticos.
This was the first time we had seen Ray back in the fold behind the drum kit with the Surfin' Lungs.
The Lungs have a great back catalogue which means that just about every gig is really varied and tonight was no exception. The atmosphere was really great, and with a few Christmas tunes done in surf-punk style it was not long before the audience were bopping in front of the stage.
The Surfin' Lungs don't play many UK gigs, so if you do get the chance to see them do not miss it!
